SEMINAR ON THE TOPIC " WORK ON THE CASE OF A CHILD AT RISK. PREPARATION OF A SOCIAL REPORT REGARDING THE INTEREST OF A CHILD. PREPARATION OF A SOCIAL REPORT TO A JUDICIAL AUTHORITY IN DISPUTE REGARDING THE EXERCISE OF PARENTAL RIGHTS”

In the period 30.08.2022 – 31.08.2022 a methodical seminar on the topic of "Working in the case of a child at risk" was held at the Center for Children and Families. Preparation of a social report concerning the interest of a child. Preparation of a social report to a judicial authority in case of a dispute regarding the exercise of parental rights". 13 social workers from the DSP of ASP took part in it.
During the workshop, the following topics and practical tasks were discussed:
● Nature and specificity of social work with a child at risk. Requirements of the regulatory framework.
● Presentation of basic guidelines for direct work with the child.
● The interview as a basic method in social work with a child at risk. Conducting interviews.
● Assessment framework. Evaluation of a child at risk alert.
● Assessment of parenting capacity and support network.
● Preparation of social reports and care planning.
● Documenting cases and drawing up protocols.
