AMENDMENTS AND SUPPLEMENTS TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE VIOLATIONS ACT AND THE ADMINISTRATIVE-PROCEDURE CODE

On 28.02.2023, an Information Seminar was held at the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy on topic "Amendments and Supplements to the Administrative Violations Act and the Administrative Procedural Code". The lecturer of the training was judge Mariyana Lazarova - Kabakchieva from the Administrative Court - Sofia Region. She introduced employees of management and expert positions from the MLSP and Second Level Spending Units to the Minister of Labour and Social Policy, who are involved in the implementation of the Law on Administrative Offenses and Penalties and the Administrative Procedural Code, with a number of features of the proceedings to establish administrative violations and the imposition of administrative penalties. In the second session of the seminar, the main problems in the Law on Administrative Offenses and Penalties proceedings before the court of first instance were discussed, as well as features of the proceedings before the court of cassation. The training continued with a discussion on common problems in the daily work of the participants in the seminar, and the amendments to the Administrative Procedural Code and its implementation in the work of administrative bodies were also discussed.
