INFORMATION SEMINAR ON TOPIC "ACTIVE LABOUR MARKET POLICY AND LABOUR MOBILITY - GOOD NATIONAL AND EUROPEAN PRACTICES"

On 24.03.2023, in the “Press Center” hall of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, an Information Seminar on topic "Active Labour Market Policy and Labour Mobility - Good National and European Practices" was held. Traditionally, this topic finds the widest interest and resonance among the employees of the Employment Agency, who after the three sessions of the seminar, actively participated with questions to the lecturer - Ms Elka Dimitrova – PhD in Economics, Consultant on Labour Market Policies and a long-term lecturer at the CHRDRI. Ms Dimitrova presented an in-depth analysis of the market for the past year, focusing in detail on the changes and trends in the labour market, caused by the changes in economic development and the international situation. Together with the participants in the seminar, she examined and summarized the current employment programs and measures for improvement of the workforce skills and mobility within the member states of the European Union. Strongly committed to the strategy for increasing the capacity of the experts in the employment services, at the end of the seminar, Ms Dimitrova invited the participants to share their needs for new knowledge and skills related to the labour market, to be used as topics in subsequent training events.
