Youth unemployment - a problem on the agenda across the European Union

On 24 and 25 October at the Centre for Human Resource Development and Regional Initiatives a two-day seminar on "European and national policies and programs for youth employment" will be held. It will be attended by 14 officials from MLSP and Employment Agency. They will raise their knowledge on the relevant policies, the current European initiatives and the Bulgarian commitments to increase youth employment and reduce unemployment. They will also gain additional knowledge on the results and the impact of programs, measures and actions to integrate young people into the labor market and the feasibility of these measures with finance-resources funded under the European Youth Guarantee.

Lecturer of the training is Ms. Elka Dimitrova - Doctor of Economic Sciences, representative of Bulgaria in the Employment Committee of the European Commission, and Director of the "Policy on the labor market" Directorate of MLSP.

All participants will receive a certificate.
