Training on enhancing knowledge on psychological support and motivating job seekers

On July 29 at the Center began a training on opportunities and alternatives for assisting people, who are permanently inactive in the labor market and application of methods for increasing their job search activity. In addition, participants will enhance their skills for preparation of applications papers, knowledge of the social policy of the Republic of Bulgaria and the legal framework in the field of social work. The training is provided for registered unemployed persons in the Labour departments of the Employment Agency who hold bachelor or master degree in the field of psychology. After completing the course the participants will start working as psychologists in the program.

 

After completing the course the participants will be able to use techniques in counseling individuals with respect to their integration in the labor market, they will know how to develop their capacity to design, prepare and implement a plan for working with clients, will be able to apply psychological techniques to reduce tension and to overcome initial difficulties in counseling unemployed persons and will acquire knowledge about basic working procedures in the Labour departments.
