Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Labour and Social Policy exchanged good practices during the training seminar on topic “Control, Audit and Reporting of Program Budgeting”

The seminar was conducted in the period 24-25 February 2010. It aimed at representing the basic principles of planning and budgeting as well as reviewing the current changes in the area. The seminar was designed for officials on managerial and expert position form both MLSP and second-level spending units to the Minister of Labour and Social Policy. The participants extended their knowledge about the legislative requirements for programme budgeting application and improved their skills for control of policies’ and programmes’ implementation.

The guest-lecturer, Mr. Cvetoslav Mikov, Head of Budgetary Methodology Department, Budget Department to Ministry of Finance shared his experience with the participants. He represented in details the different approaches for preparation and reporting of programmes’ budgets.
