12 November 2012
Social Policy for Child Protection. Group Family ConferenceOn 12 and 13 November in the Centre for Human Resource Development and Regional Initiatives a two-day seminar on topic: "Social Policy for Child Protection. Group Family Conference - a modern and efficient model to support families" will be conducted. As obvious as it is from the heading, the main focus of the agenda is on the modern and more democratic model for solving different problems connected with children in risk, entitled "Group Family Conference". The model allows the family to mobilize their own strengths and resources to deal with an emergency situation. Mrs. Mariya Petkova - Director of Tulip Foundation, witch has over 15 years experience in the field of social assistance and child protection, will present to the participants the nature and manner of implementation of the Group Family Conference. During the training the main actors in the Conference will be presented in detail. Especially time is spared for explaining the engagements of a social worker while organizing it.
The participants, who complete the course successfully, will graduate with certificates.
