A two-day intensive training on "Monitoring the Implementation of Employment Promotion Act" concluded successfully on 30 April 2009 at the Centre for Human Resources Development and Regional Initiatives. Most of the participants were managerial staff and expert officials from GLIEA from all over the country. The following main issues were considered during the seminar:

• Lawful performance of intermediary labour activities.
• Legal employment of foreigners in Bulgaria.
• Legal acceptance of employees from EU member-states and from third countries.
• Purposeful spending of employment program funds. Introduction to the National Employment Action Plan 2009.

  The training aimed at acquiring new knowledge and practical skills in performing specialized control over the observation of the Employment Encouraging Law, and acquiring particular competences with regard to the lawful performance of intermediary labour activities.
