Module trainings for improving the qualification of social workers

Today, the Center began two module trainings for improving the qualification of social workers from all over the country that will improve the their competences in working with children and families in risk. 30 participants are involved in the two profiles "Social work for children and families in risk" and "Social support to people and families"

All the costs of the training, as well as the stay of the trainees at the Center's hotels is financed under the project "Institutional capacity building of MLSP of Bulgaria."

During the one week long face-to-face training the social workers will have the opportunity to exchange experiences in solving problematic issues in their work and gain knowledge on current issues. The face-to-face training will be extended by one month long distance learning, which will strengthen the knowledge and skills of the participants and allow them to gain additional knowledge without permanent detachment from the work environment.

At the end of the distance learning form all participants who meet the requirements and pass the exams will receive a certificate under the standard of the Ministry of Education.
