Completely updated programs in “Social Support to Persons and Families“ Training

Today, the 28-th of May at the Center started the training on increasing the level of qualification of social workers from the directorates “ Socia Assistance” and the regional directorates “ Social Assistance” within the ASA system. The training with the subject “ Social support to persons and families” is targeted at  informing the trainees about the actual issues in the contemporary social policy and practice  while working with groups in disadvantaged situation,  improve the skills for providing quality social services, present the principles and  regulations for coordinating the  social security systems, increase the  level of  motivation of employees to implement succesfully  social policies, programs and measures  for social support of persons and families.

Starting this year, the training program  will be updated with some modules for social working on case- the rights and obligations of social workers, the new organisation of residential services for adults- life in small groups, measures on preventing and limiting the violence in groups of disadvantaged situation and also the  topic of  human trafficing.

The training will be a combination of  both types of trainings – the face-to-face and distance learning trainings.

The succesful trainees will be granted certificates for  higher level of  qualification.
