Training on specific psychological techniques applied in advising unemployed persons at risk

On July 29, the Center began a training on raising knowledge of the legal framework in the field of social work, basic legislative and program documents that define the policy of the labor market in Bulgaria, and the specificity of the different target groups subject to social assistance and support. The training is provided for registered unemployed persons in the Labour departments of the Employment Agency who hold university degree in educational, social, economic or legal studies.

After completing the course the participants will be able to apply legal provisions in the field of social services in their work as well as the principles of modern social policy, according to the current legislation. They will be able to participate actively in the process of case management and effectively use information from the existing database; they will be able to differentiate different target groups subject to social counseling and will lead and conduct work with them applying professional orientation, balance of competences, active job search, orientation and counseling.
