The efforts of the tourism industry in 2015 are aimed at increasing the number of tourists. This suggests that hoteliers and owners will seek more highly qualified staff in room attendance. In this regard, on 23 March CHRDRI launched a vocational training for qualification in the profession "Room attendant", which will continue until 21 May. The training is designed for unemployed persons under NAPE.
During the training the participants will learn about the types of hotels, motels, campgrounds, etc. They will also study in detail the administrative and economic hotel management, technology, housekeeping and maintenance, additional services and basic sanitary requirements. Special attention will be paid to labor relations, work in a group / team, professional ethics, and others. Some of the key areas in which participants will be taught are: safety and fire protection, cleaning and change of linen, working with household equipment. Each participant will learn about various consumables, chemicals and techniques for cleaning and disinfection.
There will be also educational practice in famous hotels in Sofia for all the trainees.
After the training all participants who have met the requirements and passed the necessary exams will receive a certificate of acquired first level of professional qualification under the standard form of MES.
