The role of the family in the positive development of children

The problem concerning the role of the family and the relations between children and their parents, the role of state in the  de-institutionalization of the process and the practices for their successful reintegration in the family, are part of the topics in the training “ New approaches and  methods in provisioning of social services and social work on re-integrating children in a  biologic family”.

 The trainees in the 2-days seminar will be social workers from the  “Social assistance” directorates, the departments on children’s protection at the ASA as well as experts from the  State Agency on Child’s Protection.

Lecturer at the training will be the expert- lecturer from the Association for Pedagogic and Social Support for Children “ FITZE-Bulgaria”- Mrs. Natalia Hristova- Mihailova.

By implementing various interactive methods- solving of cases, discussions, role plays, including a forum-theater – and video presentations is expected that the trainees will be able to develop, control and direct the  process of returning the child   into the family,  implement various techniques for direct working with the family,  be able to estimate the efficiency of their work,  make analysis and offer some changes within the support process if certain type of  necessity has appeared  in the process.

The CHRDRI will issue certificates to all  participants who were present at the seminar.
