From 29 September until October03 will be held training on "Social support to people and families". It will be attended by social workers with experience of more than two years. They are selected from the "Social Assistance" and "Social Protection" directorates - Elin Pelin, Ihtiman, Etropole, Slivnitsa, Samokov, Pirdop, Botegrad, and Kostinbrod and "People with disabilities and social services" directorates - Elin Pelin, Pirdop, Svoge and Botevgrad.
During the training, participants will learn to apply the principles of modern social policy, contributing to the implementation of the deinstitutionalization process according to current legislation, to effectively resolve cases and use residential services as a tool in their practice, to be able to apply protective mechanisms in a high-risk environment for the execution of their duties and carry out preventive work among vulnerable groups; will be able to create, store and record the relevant documentation, to use mechanisms for interaction with the institutions and civil society organizations and coordinate their case work.
The training will take place in both face-to-face and distance learning forms with 40 attendance hours in the training premises of the Center and the 90 hours that will be implemented via the distance learning platform of CHRDRI.
After the training, all the participants fulfilled the requirements and passed the required exams will receive a certificate under the standard of Ministry of Education.
