In the period 16-17 July, a two-day seminar on “European Social Fund. Human Resources Development Operational Program 2007-2013. European Integration Fund” was conducted.
Officials at managerial and expert positions in the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and the executive agencies to the Minister of Labor and Social Policy, which are engaged in the development and implementation of projects, funded under Human Resources Development Operational Program, took part in the training.
The main goal of the current training is the forming of knowledge of Human Resources Development Operational Program 2007-2013, the anti-crisis measures for the Program implementation, the characteristics of the contracting under the grant schemes, as well as forming of skills for work with the information system for management and monitoring of the EU structural instruments in Bulgaria.
The seminar covered the following major topics: Human Resources Development Operational Program 2007-2013; Funding rules and conditions. Grant schemes and implementation stages; Presentation of the Information system for management and monitoring of the EU structural instruments in Bulgaria; Presentation of Council of Ministers’ Regulation No 121; European Integration Fund – nature, principles and functioning methods for 2007 and 2008.
A tutor was Mr. Plamen Girginov, head of “Programming, Coordination and Evaluation” Department, Directorate General “European funds, International Programs and Projects” in the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.
