TRAINING ON ENHANCING KNOWLEDGE ON PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT AND MOTIVATING JOB SEEKERS

On November 18, the Center began a training on "Psychological support for activation of inactive people in the labor market", which aims at raising knowledge of the legal framework in the field of social work, basic legislative and program documents that define the policy of the labor market in Bulgaria, and the specificity of the different target groups subject to social assistance and support. The training is provided for unemployed persons registered in the Labour departments of the Employment Agency who hold Bachelor or Master degree of Psychology, who can start working as psychologists for the Program. The participants in this group are selected from the "Regional Employment" Departments - Vidin, Montana, Varna, Yambol and Kardzhaly.

After completing the course the participants will be able to apply legal provisions in the field of social services in their work as well as the principles of modern social policy, according to the current legislation. They will be able to participate actively in the process of case management and effectively use information from the existing database; will be able to differentiate different target groups subject to social counseling and will lead and conduct work with them applying professional orientation, balance of competences, active job search, orientation and counseling.

Successful graduates will receive certificates.
