Today's training was organized as a follow up conducted in May this year seminar to present socially responsible labor practices in the possibility of their applicability. It considered the role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in today's globalized world and the potential of private sector initiative to achieve the objectives of the ILO and the ILO Decent Work.
This training was developed through a more interactive methodology to focus the attention of participants - officials from MLSP, social partners and NGOs on the hottest moments in the field of CSR. Through examples and case studies concerning the application of Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work (freedom of association and collective rights of the contracting, forced labor, child labor, Equal Opportunities), will illustrate the real practical perspectives.
The seminar will provide an opportunity to discuss challenges regarding the implementation of CSR in Bulgaria from the perspective of various stakeholders.
Lecturer and author of the methodology put forward in the implementation of the training is Maria Vasquez ITC – ILO, Turin, Italy.
Training is supported by the project “Support to the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy of the Republic of Bulgaria for the Development of Human Resources in the South-East European Countries”, jointly implemented by the MLPS and ITC - ILO.
